The Details and facts on the NCS4 report
I have been reading the Bullboard with fascination.
Lots of posts by people who clearly have not read the details and are just making assumptions on one liners.
There are many key points in the report that are important to understand. Read the document several times!
1) The evaluators ratings are subjective. Not factual. Notice that one evaluator usually rated everything one number below the others.
2) The ratings follow a table. "2" is excellent. It means that the product met the requirments but the evaluators had some comments. When you read the details, for example, the system alerted at 1.6% versus a industry standard target of 20%. Someone commented that the majority of alerts came from cellphones. So the rating is 2.2. Thats bullsh*t. it's an observation. it sliek saying that the testing was done on Monday and you get a 2 rating instead of a 3.
3) The real importnat details are the OBJECTIVE measured data. Detecting 100% of guns, detecting 77% of small knives (which is double what a metal detector does.
When you look at the metrics, across 2 tests, patriot exceed for guns, large knives, medium knives, and small knives, with some exceptions for a aluminum gun and knife.
People need to look at the details. An overall rating of 2.5 out of 3 for SUBJECTIVE ratings means that, according to the table THey met or exceeded all standards, and got some comments. and these guys are very good at taking comments and improving fats (look at the difference between 1.1 and 1.4.
another interesting thing is that they are being very open and transparent. The IPVM report and what the leagues are saying is that Evolv is faking things, and hiding their issues and lying.

Exactly, these tests were an absolute win.. 2.5 out of 3 is not underperforming, it's an excellent according the test standards of the the third party because they are so stringent.. people either didn't read or could not understand stand the metric and equation.. effing read... it's a win

Exactly. read the detaisl. "2" Means = Met or exceeded all the requirements with some comments. The comments were things like "Cellphones caused the most false alerts"....ok...cool....the most alerts out of a 1.6% alert rate when the target was 20% per NIJ standard. 2.5 is a huge win.
