I believe the Xincas hold no relevance in this i.e. they never have...just a smokescreen.  The road block was setup and paid for by an NGO. This morning with the news on Peru was predictable ...more

The Xinca (Xinka) indigenous people do not have to say yes for MSR to resume operations. The ILO Convention 169 consultations are designed to reach an agreement to projects through good faith ...more

MEM Guatemala (Luis Chang) - no timeline for consultation

Cites that they will begin with a pre-consultation to identify the various parties in the communities. No timeline for the actual consulation and the restart date for MSR is unknown.

Well the stock price for THO ia pretty much floating on the Timmins gold properties now.  Sure would be nice to get the south american mines back on track.
