RE:RE:RE:RE:Who cares who buys this company the only thing We aren't in the investing business to subsidize the jobs of 50 employees, by selling the company for cash, at the bottom of the market.  Stealing $73 million of value from the debenture holders, implies that these must be pretty good paying jobs.  This amount of loss, implies subsidizing the G+A for the next 10 years.

"Twin Butte's head office and management will remain in Alberta, while continuing the operations and ensuring ongoing employment for the Company's staff."

Here's another way to ensure ongoing employment: come up with a better restructuring plan, that doesn't involve stealing all the wealth from shareholders and debenture holders, and keep the company as a going concern, to recoup value for investors, when the oil prices ultimately rise. Don't go private in some secretive deal, hide out for a few months, then try and IPO in a "new" publicly traded company.
