Nonsensical posts about lawsuits

Nonsensical posts about lawsuitsIt is amusing to see the numerous posts about suing the bankers, trustee, directors etc.  We have shareholders claiming that it's their right to sue someone because they lost money on their investment in the common shares.  The reason is simple - the price of oil collapsed and Twin Butte was unable to pay its debts.  Debenture holders now threatening to sue because they didn't understand debenture terms.
Instead of blaming others, consider your losses as a teachable moment and try to learn from the experience.  We all make mistakes but hopefully we avoid making them twice.  Due diligence is important - don't blame the bankers if you didn't read or understand the prospectus.  You can't sue the directors if they didn't foresee the prolonged oil price decline.  Blame them for poor judgement but that is not the basis of a lawsuit.
