RE:RE:1-2 years later....Every year in August, I think of the zero threat on debentures and what it really meant.
And now, years later, I note that the ultimate buyer (Sinoenergy) has seen its share price decrease by 80% and the return on their oil + gas investments in western Canada has simply been, so far, horrible.
If another significant (secular and cyclical) downturn comes, we may have to look for alternative sources of capital.
