And 54 years later the US is trying to legalize marijuana but because theres different strains the US need to do what Canada has done limiting the amount of THC per receipt. The US has been trying to legalize cannabis but it is more complicated then just saying "Ok it's legal" I can't see the DEA doing anything till election and then they will know which government body they are dealing with. I quit smoking anything 30 years ago because it all causes cancer and now adays medical history shows that vaping or smoking cannabis is more cancerous then cigarettes puting more strain on US healthcare. Cannabis companies wont be profitable for years.
