Choice of right target

When looking at HEXO's now CAD400M  market cap and desperation to raise equity to fund the announced acquisition of  Redecan at a higher price than it's own market value, i think that Tilray should have run after them instead of the us company that is overpriced...

Time is now for consolidation at a reasonnable price....

Sebastien should have been replaced years ago. His lack of experience always shines through. Fiasco after fiasco over there. His track record of raising money always at the lows is rather uncanny. The best Andrew Bell BNN interview ever was with Sebastien. This video is a CLASSIC,.. both coming unglued. You have to wonder how much Bell was hosed for the way this interview went.... an absolute ...more

I am concerned that if TLRY raises money with more shares at these suppressed levels the market will have the same knee jerk reaction that they have with HEXO. Sure they have a less experienced CEO but they do have a partnership with Molson. TLRY has Simon and no partner! The question for me is why would I expect a different reaction from the market when shorts appear to be in control. I don't ...more

TLRY needs huge institutional investors and maybe the whining by small retail holders will cease!

A Partner in my mind is someone that injects money into the company. Unless there is a PR I have missed Molson's has injected $0 into Hexo. Also if they were a great partner and had belief in HEXO's "turn around"  then why wouldn't they inject the money instead of having to go to market for a raise? Might as well have no partner. HEXO is tied to an anchor. Every other LP ...more

I agree the Molson deal is a shared investment in Truss I think, not a dime in Hexo but it does give them a supply deal for the venture for x amount of time I guess. Yes Irwin has experience  but that doesnt mean he always makes the right decision or is in control of what decisions he can make. TLRY is in a do or die get into the US now or be left behind (thats the way I see it). Why? Money ...more

I understand the cash raise aspect you mention. Not sure what decision Irwin could have done better. If he had the ability to raise when this was trading at higher levels I have no doubt he would have. But when you can't issue shares nothing can be done. His hands are tied till shareholders push a YES vote through. If we can get the dam vote to go through this MedMen deal is a matter of ...more

I can't comment on what Irwin might have done bettere or not we are where we are I am not on the inside to make a good call on that. I agree there is no better option than a "yes" vote and I agree the SP may test in the 12s. GTII is a well run MSO that I believe is still above the 200 daily so they have held up well even with todays correction....I'm not pulling the buy trigger ...more

They pushed GTII under the 200 day just today. Smart move on holding back any buy there. I expect your reasoning why it held up so well to date is on the money. GTII - 200 day is $36.26 CAD $32.06 CAD is an important support level on GTII. It could be a good entry point.

See this guy knows what he is talking about.  The dilution is going to be massive and it will tank the share price.  We have seen this many times with APHA in the past, not just with APHA, with any MJ stock.  Vote yes or no.  It does not matter.  This dilution will happen, just a matter of when.  Unless they got a big legit partner behind the scene, this dilution will ...more

SMH.  Just because MMEN share price is in the dumps because they are about to go bankrupt  does not mean it is not overpriced still.  Same happened with Tilray, share price hit a low of $2.40 heading towards bankruptcy as well.  Few handshakes and back room deals and APHA takesover Tilray or Tilray takesover APHA.  So confused.  Lol.  Anyways, like I posted ...more
