RE:Disgrace!

RE:Disgrace!
I think we've all seen that in a number of these companies. That's NOT THE CASE HERE GF.

It's normal for management to receive a monthly stipend while they work to establish traction and value. This can be as little as $2,500 per month per exec to $5,000 per month per exec. Add to that the ongoing costs of administration, records, filings, licences, bookeeping, telephones, office etc and you have ongoing expense. The reality is that mining is speculative and that economic results are far from gauranteed. Work needs to be done to "find" the goods. People usually get paid to work. That's fair. And that certainly applies here. It's also not uncommon to see management put fees on hold during periods of inactivity. I believe that is lthe case here as well.

GF, I unfortunately invested in another such company where nothing the president claimed would be done was done. The company raised about $680,000 (out of $1.2 announced) and for 2 years this jerk off president paid himself $15K per month, the other $300K going to travel, office and public co expense.  None of the money went into the ground as promised. I was outraged, upset and disgusted - justifiably.

I think your outrage is misplaced with Tosca and its management. I get it that you are not happy about losing $. All of us feel that way. But management didn't do anything wrong or untoward. They gave it their best shot with what litlle there was to work with and the results really disappointed. Don't forget that you have to pay for drilling and geologists to oversee and direct the work. That's going to cost something, especially if they have to get to Mexico to do it. If you ask me, they got good value in terms of work for the expense.

So all we have left is the shell and the only hope of recovering some value lies in its future. We can sit and moan and point fingers, or we can forget it, move forward and where possible, help the company succeed in its next venture (or not - that is each individual's choice).

In any case, you can't let this eat you up. Failure goes with the territory. Got to move on. Think of and focus on solutions.

good luck
