Looking for Private Detectives

Looking for Private Detectives A few days ago, the LA Times published a piece about problems and even deaths connected to the use of the TJF-Q180.  For reference, here's the link

https://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-scope-problems-20150803-story.html

That story had a starting point in the Maude system of the Fda, that is the system where patients and the medical personel signal issues with the use of medical equipent.  More specifically, the starting point was this report

https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/cdrh/cfdocs/cfmaude/detail.cfm?mdrfoi__id=5456006

From there the jounalist was sent the info as well as most of the backgound material for his piece.

Early this morning, the FDA updated it's data bank so we can now scutinize the events signaled in March.  Here's the general link

https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/cdrh/cfdocs/cfmaude/search.cfm

If there are people there who want to play detectives, just fill in the words "EVIS EXERA" in the brand name field and you'll get to the events involving the complex scopes of Olympus.

A quick survey suggests some more problems for Olympus.  If you find a real juicy one, please post the link.  I know someone who will be happy to do a follow-up.  Enjoy
