Upcoming AAMI Meeting

From March 19-22 AAMI will be having its Sterilization Standards Week.

Last month echo2 gave us an excellent overview of AAMI's Endoscope Reprocessing Working Group and it sounded like the group favors terminal sterilization.

Questions for those who know about AAMI's inner organization and influence:

Will the working group's findings and/or recommendations be presented during the Sterilization Standards meetings?  

If so, will this help determine an 'official' AAMI position on endoscope sterilization?

Would an 'official' AAMI position have any clout with the FDA on our duodenscope 510k submissions?

Any other ramifications an AAMI 'official' position might have for TSO3's future?

Just trying to get a sense of the forces shaping the environment our new sales force is working in.
