Rambler is in Control Now!

Purchasing 50% of Little Deer for $550,000, mostly in stock, was a steal and puts a value on Thundermin's share of the asset at about a 1/2 cent per share. Means at 3 cents THR's other assets must be collectively worth more than Little Deer, not likely! You can argue that THR actually has 75% of Little Deer but that's not ging to happen, to get it they must fund a feasibility study at over $2 million and provide finaincing to place the project into production. Even before feasibility another $5 million will have to be spent on the project to drill off the deposit. Rambler has what it wants and can get the remaindeer of the asset cheap by forcing a drill program that THR will not be able to fund and will have to default resulting in dilution of its interest to below 50% and be reduced to a royalty over time. So where does THR go from here? A merger with Rambler will not happen unless THR shareholders are prepared to take maybe a nickel a share. With no listing as of November 8th and a zero cash balance and no hope to raise funds to keep up with Rambler, the olny hope for THR is to sell their initerest in Little Deer to Rambler for cash and use the funds to hopefully get lucky somehwere else. THR blew it by not purchasing the Cornerstone interest and now are weaker because of it.

Godaddy8: What you are saying is this deal with Rambler was a waste to us shareholders  on a financial level. In other words we will gain little or no profit from the current share price price and possibly lose other acquistions along the way. One question......Why would THR management agree to this if there will be no financial  reward down the road? I know Im not the brightest light ...more

Godaddy  speaks from the dark side. The other way to look at this. Rambler has a mill, production and is going to need ore to run the mill. THR has the TSE listing which is not easy to get. THR has an Ontario gold play and other claims which could be of interest to Rambler. Duck Pond will close in two years, that mill could move to Little Deer. THR is the operator of the Little Deer program ...more

PT - Correct on all counts. I didn't get GODADDY when he failed to know THR is the operator and sets the drill program and money to spend. That is a big whoops. Oh well, time will tell, heck, a nickel is a 100% premium at the moment. LE

I hate to be cynical, but can we expect stock price manilulation going forward. In other words it would be advantageous for Rambler to keep our share price low, for a buyout in the near future. I hope this won't be the case.........however............. People like J. Arnold, J Heslop, J Gill, Hugh Harbinson would have increased their shares in THR in vain? A question that leaves me baffled. ...more
