RE:RE:W.I. latestSince the late seventies when that nucear Renaissance was in full swing thanks to the OPEC oil crisis, the price of Uranium stayed above 40 dollars a pound for over 4 years. It would have kept going longer except the accident at Three mile island put the brakes on Nuclear. I believe the reasons to go nuclear are much more compelling now than then . Natural gas and coal were logical competitors back then and now thanks to global warming ,now they are not. In fact that type of generation should be replaced by nuclear. The huge increase in electric vehicles is going to further increase the need for baseload power. I don’t think there will be any quick end to these compelling fundamentals given how long it takes to get new mines on line.
