Delays and over run

Currently there is a gold mine in northern Ontario that is nearing the end of its construction phase. With a little research you can find the name as I won't be posting it. The mine is 14 months late and over 2 billion over projected cost.. The same or worse will be happening across the Uranium sector for the hard rock mines.. This is partially due to supply shortages but more over the lack of labour!!! These are the conditions that will hamper development of ANY mine !!! All of the projects that utilities are counting on WILL be late... This situation will only get worse as the labour pool is shrinking.. There has been little interest in the trades.. Young folks want to be brand influencers.. Very few want to get into a cage and drop a mile into the earth to earn a living.. If you think it's bad now, wait a year.
