RE:RE:RE:Private Placement
I will not go back to 2001. And at the time CARDS was the main project. We all know what happened with gold around those times.
I also agree that this makes a lot of paper to eventually hit the market. But short term, the fact that they use debentures as a financing tool, with higher strike price for conversion makes me feel much better, and does not kill the market price. Also, they give out a warrant with a strike of .22 (18 months) So this will not put pressure short term on the stock, will give it some room to breathe, etc.
Your concerns are legitimate. But i'm certain that people that invest in this debenture will have done their DD and look into this mather as well.
Sad to say that when your a small cie and want to expand... you need more cash.
What makes me feel better about this is the use of the money. Makes me think there is a plan in place and management is making sure they have the ressources (money) to achieve it.
Am I happy with this? NO for sure. But i do understand the reasons behind this. And also the way they raise money. I love this way compared to raising money in selling stock at lets say .10/share.
Always, why so grey about ADK this AM?
Cheeseman, hope your serious about your target price en of may.... but me personnally, to be conservative and honest, i think we will be in the range of .18 to .20.
I feel a lot of risk in the company as been taken out short term because of liquidity coming in.
My hope is that we do not need to go to the market anymore, and that continued profits will finance the operations, R&D and development of new markets.
In January, most were talking about ADK being in a turn aroud story (Cinderella style), well my feeling as not changed.
in the meantime, we still drink that local beer. Just hope we wont be down to making our own beer to save costs. :)
And Stef, Short term, i dont know if China would work yet. Someone told me how hard it is to deal in China. The cie would need to find a Chinese partner they can trust, and let them do the development over there. But when you find one .... things move very fast.
With what was said before, with the meetings management had in the US, i would bet this is the next playing field. And it's not like there are no diabetics in the US that need retinopathy screening, non intrusive, with test results within 3-5 minutes, at 98% efficacy, and cost US$13 per test. Actually the whole world needs it. But that's another story.
Oh yeah, the negative part, i hope we will eventually exchange those debentures into stock,,,, that will mean the stock price is higher. :)
And what this company needs now, is a real IR guy that will take the time to talk to shareholders, and potential investors, to make sure the management message comes across very clearly. And explanations come in.
