Although the Fed has been talking tough on inflation fighting lately,  traders,  in relation to  where the POG could move to anyway,  will wait on the jobs report for the month to get a read on the ever changing mood of the Fed.
I would think the POG has a good chance of revisiting the upper 1600's again over the next few months if the Fed sticks to its guns and recent hardline talk on inflation. But by that only.We'll see. But the Fed won't keep it up for long before doing an about face and abandoning the inflation fight in the face of deepening recession going into 2023 all bullish for gold then.
