RE:RE:Good News - But still a waiting game on spin out

I just tell it like it is. It does not matter what Larry thinks about the company. The market alone dictates a company's worth. Investors that don't understand this spin out need to put it in layman's terms. If General Motors decides to spin out Cadillac as a separate company, it doesn't mean shareholders are getting some kind of bonus as current shareholders already own Cadillac. It may be a good move for companies that have some business lines being dragged down by pour lines. But don't expect GM stock to spin out Cadillac and go for example from one share at 100 in GM to one share at 100 in GM plus 1 in Cadillac at 50. You just can't make up increased share value because to think you can. It is a stock split plain and simple. It will be 1 share of GM at 75 and 1 of Cadillac at 25. After the split value may go up if the market likes the move. But in AMY's situation you will see an immediate sell off of the spin out for purchase of AMY. This move is only to protect Larry and increase the chances of a battery manufacturer buying out AMY without getting in the mining business.

Don't get me wrong, I like the move. Buyout is likely but it just won't happen until the spin out takes place. Once this happens investors will rocket this stock. Until then it's a gamble on the spin out sell off. No free money here.
