In the early days of both Canada & the USA as peopl moved West to develop the country they were often .murdered. by the Indians. not being political]?

Once more peaceful times occurred the newer Settlers moved West with no resistance and set up farms,towns etc.

Being First in uncharted territory is not always the best as we. need to educate the marketplace develop acceptance etc.  Once the ball is rolling many competitors cann enter the developed market with little or no pain.
