Win some lose some....
When I hit a winner, I take the credit for superb research, timing and maybe a touch of luck. When I hit a loser I take responsibility for doing a bad job in those areas. So, most of the blame falls on me for being a bag holder while the walls were crumbling. If I chose a company with incompetent management, I must learn from that mistake and move on. The only issue that is different in the case of ATK, is that I'm fairly sure that this management mixed incompetence with crooked actions. We will probably never know where all the money went and why the devastating deals were made and who wound up with what.......but there is no doubt in my mind that management wanted Hansar to win NOT because they liked Andrew Watts and that team and thought they would do a good job bringing ATK out of the abyss. They backed Hansar because they did not want the Dissident Shareholders Group to get in and have a chance to look at the books, lease arrangements, deals made and broken, the myriad of lawsuits and hold them responsible. If someone ever does take action on these people , let me know. I would enjoy being part of it.
