Obviously a hard question to answer before yuo know your costs - but 400-500M is the low end for start up capital costs in my minf. But the thought is a good one to go through once people start talking about minine costs, and grades.

Grades are great - but resources are what mine are built on.

(ore volume X Grade = Resources)

sure. add up a fleet of 100 tonne truck, two shovels, 3 scoops, a maintenance shop.

add a processing plant, a warehouse, a fuel tank of 10-20m litres, and the necessary replacement parts

add a camp, a kitchen,a gym

move all this stuff to sommerset island, assemble and you will be over 500m instantly.

Wow those are expensive toys... so why would we need a fleet of 100 ton trucks for as you state A sorter plant that A) we already have and B) Only processes up to 100 tons an hour? We aren’t moving the material very far... and a 10-20 million liter tank? Resolute bay isn’t that far away to top up a smaller tank or several smaller tanks...even Quebec is reasonably close, Polaris ran most of their stuff in and out of Quebec.. I bet there’s even some equipment there...prolific mining area..

100T is a pretty small truck for mining. What do yuo want to use instead an 80T? 40T?  OKay, buy two or three more than I was planning I guess. You recognize yuo dont know what yuo are talking abuot though right?

Resulte Bay isnt that far away? First of all yuo are wrong. Secong of all, do you think they have a gas station in Resolute Bay 0- or an oil refinery? Third of all do yuo know what heating fuel cost in Resolute Bay? Fourth of all, fuel is only barged into these communities ONCE a year. You nkow nothing about what yuo are talking about Martindale and its obvious. YOu are not in quebec, yuo are in a remote, uninhabited island.

You are giong to use old rusty Polaris equipment? Dude, yuo haev fully embarassed yuorsel enough for one day. YOu haev also told us howl much you actually know about ACTUAL mining.

While martindale' scomments speak for themselves, he is also clearly underestimates the the most immportant thing in profitable mining - SCALE.
