I don't see your logic here. Yes it would be nice to see insider buys for my personal "feelings". I too got caught up in wanting to see some token purchases but I have recently stepped back from that cliff. Financially, a small token purchase could increase shareholder moral BY BUMPING share price , but why would they really want to do that before NCIB . As they stated, they have a game plan where they wil pay off the debt they accumulated this half of 2023. as the oil market rebounds and FCF rises they will start the NCIB with remaining cash. Artificially attempting to raise the shake prices to make us "small fries" happy would only make their NCIB purchases less effective. Once the well results are released and NCIB is commences shareprice will rise. They don't need to managed month to month qtr to qtr. if they did in the end none of us investors would be happy.
like I said, I was stuck in this taken purchases but recently changed my tune.
