The Fund may invest directly in securities or synthetically through the use of derivatives. The Fund's investment policies provide that it invests at least 80% of its total assets in investment grade quality municipal obligations issued by or on behalf of states, territories and possessions of the United States and their political subdivisions, agencies or instrumentalities, each of which pays interest that, in the opinion of bond counsel to the issuer, is excludable from gross income for federal income tax purposes. RE:My gurl left meh

Pwum, your thinking is tragically flawed.  I'll use an analogy to explain, as your mistake is all too common.

You're on a bus, and the bus breaks down, and is now sitting on the side of the road. It is NOT going to fixed, and may take years to get parts, if ever.

But there are any number of other busses going by you, who will stop if you want, pick you up, and take you to your destination.

But you say "no thanks" to all of the other busses.  "I'll just sit on this broken bus".  Now, how dumb would that be? We, you too, all know the answer. Dumb beyond belief.  Now, if this is dumb on a bus, it's also dumb in the market. Essentially, it's the exact same thought.
