Over?

It ain't over 'til it's over. That said, it ain't exactly moving forward in a hurry. The last piece of Bayhorse news I read was about the expiry date of millions of warrants getting extended out another three years. All of the other recent news items have been about exploration drilling, mineraization, assays, grades, and the like. The new milling facility has been loosely described as operational, but not as operating. It's couched in terms like, 'it will enable the company to fulfill the silver offtake agreement'. Future tense.

I think it's safe to say, the company is not currently producing silver concentrate in any meaningful way. I've seen no news release to the contrary. Certainly no numbers: there's been nothing saying 'we're processing this many tons a week' or 'we've shipped this quantity'. No word that it's actually started. Not a producer. Not yet.

I'd love to be wrong. If anyone's got evidence to the contrary, let me know. But, you know, a story you heard that someone on another forum talked to the CEO and things sounded really hopeful - that isn't really anything. I'm not asking if it's over. I'm asking if it'll ever begin.

Good question 52.  No amswer to give you but the pumpers keep pumping (as they have for years).  GO should be really ashamed of himself for not keeping his holders informed as to current sutuation.  People keep talking about public getting out of Fiat and draining gold.  Thatis going to take years, is the thing they never mention. I Keep selling a little at a time when get more ...more

Thanks for the post. I guess it will be a question of actual production costs. In the old days, the estimateswere 10 USD per ounce using the sorter and stockpiled material. Now, there is fresh rather high grade ore. Can anyone give a reasonable guesstimation what the real production costs will be given the new variables? NO not you Sage as you wont know. Someone who has experience in mining and ...more

I imagine we could come up with a few theories to explain the seeming lack of progress.  But I'm starting to gravitate toward the mindset that management is waiting for higher silver prices to either ship or announce successful delivery.  Some precious metals talking heads are postulating that the Fed will pivot by Q3 or Q4, or maybe Q1 of next year, and will restart QE to "save ...more

What I meant about the permit story is this: BHS should have a partial or preliminary permit in place that allows them to produce enough cocnentrate to fulfill the Ocean deal. I am concluding this from the fact that they built a new production site with significant throughput. For example, 40 t per hour mill to crush the sorted material to the size suitable to do the density floatation process (I ...more

So then what is the hold-up?  The only viable theory then becomes that they're intentionally sandbagging the delivery, or waiting to release the news of it (if they're even allowed to do that).  Across the street, they're speculating that BHS has possibly sent the miners home because they can't/don't want to pay them, thus potentially avoiding another round of ...more
