RE:UN and FNS Declaration
Well I think the ndp are backed into a corner. If they decide to go against the no adverse affects they have to have some kind of common sense reason otherwise the EAO process would be a joke and a waste of money and time and would scare all the juniors away from entering into a ea agreement with the gov't. The Un charter is not a bad thing and to be fully implemented will take many years. Every other country has signed on except the US so really these changes are coming and will help aboriginals have a better life. It doesn't mean our economies will be hamstrung it just means consultation needs to take place so projects don't effect them negatively. FN need to be part of these consultations if it's on their land our if any bad effects that would affect them and that seems to be a reasonable premise. As far as bkm is concerned they have done everything required to get their permit, and it's been a long haul and coudo's to John for being positive and hanging in there on our behalf. Most any other president of a company would have walked away leaving disaster to shareholders. Maybe we need some of that positivity John exhibits. What a extrodinary man and he will win our permit.
