That said, I believe that this is a very good time to be holding a copper asset and so I do not anticipate it being difficult to find interested parties.
Many mining companies are flush with cash at this time simply because the price of copper/gold/etc is so high. The little bit I have read on www.kitcometals.com indicates to me that mining companies are looking to acquire quality properties at this time.
For years John has talked about doing the detailed engineering once we get the permit. Most importantly he said ...ONCE we get the permit. I recall him estimating that it would cost approximately $10 million.
If we can reduce risk, then the price of the asset will go up. This is the reason for detailed engineering. There will be fewer unanswered questions about costs, ROI, quantity of ore etc. and so it sets us up to get top dollar.
