CHARABILITY SURVEYSTrueclaims - spoke about the high charge around Scadding that was assumed to be attributed by, the chlorite rock and gold. It was inconclusive, not knowing what was giving off such a high signal.
BMK - few years ago spoke about this high charge signal and it too thought it had something to do with the chlorite.
If we break this subject down and ask what may be giving off such a charge ?
Aside of iron....
SALTS - would fit the bill perfectly. Salts hold ionic charge.
But... not so fast.
If a few of the survey's focused on the ( lens ) at depth where the chllrite rock is found, and still...
the charge was quite high... then, what's the chargre value of - chlorite ?
CHLORITE = ( - 1 charge value )
That wouldn't explain the high charge value if chlorite - negative 1 charge.
Chloride really has but one purpose... ( own opinion )
to pair, to stabalize - minerals.
converting to a chloride just as sulphur converts minerals to sulphates.
Chorite rock is known to come on, sheet like crystals.
Anyone seeing sheet like layers in BMK cores ?
I haven't.
Native copper is rarely found in it's natural state.
It is most often in a converted form.
oxide paired with oxygen, sulphide with sulphur, chllride with chlorine.
So.... what would explain the high charability seen in surveys ?
One quick way of knowing is...
Testing several cores from Scadding area and looking for a
+1 charge or +2 charge in the green and blue cores.
What would it suggest ?
If chlorite rock has a neg 1 charge.
And supposing the BMK green or blue cores had +1 or +2 charge ?
It would mean an unseen mineral was paired with the chloritde.
This is where technicalities would come into play.
One could scan the core and say there's chlorite.
And they'd be correct.
While on the flip - another could test the charability of the core and if +1 or +2 was seen...
They could also say... the chlorite is paired with another mineral.
Now what i find so funny is...
Juniors can go to great lengths and costs testing large plots of lands for charge singnals.
But... why not test the core meterage = looking to see what is causing the charge signal ?
Wink.
Let's take copper chloride as example.
Copper = +2 charge
Chlorite = -1 charge
= +1 charge ( end result )
Now.. .how easy would it be to all the blue and green cores with a charge instrument
looking for positive charges -
If the chlorite core is only showing clear colors of blue or green amongst quartz, and nothing is standing out mineral wise, and a positive charge reading occurs - then....
Could be good odds a mineral has paired with - chloride.
It's like a geologist scanning the cores.
Wetting the cores asissts to see what apprent minerals are in the core.
But... what i see so often is... no ( LED LIGHT ) with high brilliance is used.
Light can reveal so much more.
Not overhead light... rather, focal LED light centered right on the specimen.
There's a few good flashlights out htere that offer high lumination.
The smallest nano spec of gold will jump right out - with such lighting.
While undetected by the naked eye even with loop.
SUM IT UP ?
Test the chargability of hte blue and green cores.
If they're positive.... begin asking what mineral could have paired with the chloride.
What if it were copper or nickel ?
Scadding area is quite special.
Lots going on.
Bonanza lake area, has massive quartz dykes.
Lots of salts... and this area in itself could be providing a high chage value.
And the question that surrounds the subject... how did all these salts come about ?
Metal salts of all kinds, even uranium and potassium, phosphorus...
Aluminum, magnesium, manganese, sodium, calcium etc....
Carbonates too....
Whose to say...
several minerals from ( thermal hydrafluids ) are still in a phase of, crystal solution ?
In a chloride.
Research papers i've offered in post...
Do suggest, that morphing of the minerals can most certainly occur if heated.
Micas and Biotites can develop.
What if these chlorites and other salts are in a prelim phase... didn't get to this phase due to
lack of thermal magma heat ?
I envison a feldspar ( sheet crystals ) under extreme heat converting it's minerals with in,
allowing the swap of chlorite replacing hte potassium, and the evolution of, sheet like crystals turing to micas and biotites revealing what was once unseen in the clear color cores ?
Cheers.....
