PEA vs. NI 43-101

Hey Folks,

The PEA from Sept 2014 has:
B2O3 Mt
Indicated: 1.74
Inferred: 1.80
Total: 3.54
NPV = $428 million USD

The NI 43-101 from March 2019 has:
B2O3 Mt
Indicated: 2.4
Inferred: 1.0
Total: 3.4

The NI 43-101 are better "safer" numbers for us even though the total is slightly lower because there is more indicated.

However, this still puts us in the $428 million USD range. Boron prices are a wildcard as to the overall value but the resource size isn't much different from 2014 to 2019.

I'm not sure where we get the $2.1 billion that is often discussed, unless there is a mining level of "suspected" or something below Inferred.

Thoughts?

Nobodysfuel, You will always find NI 43-101 reports on Sedar. This one is dated March 1, 2019. Good luck with this

Nobodysfuel, We get the $2.1B as follows- Forecast Annual Revenue at Piskanja - US$97M Mine Life - 21 years Gross Project Revenue at Piskanja - US$97M X 21years = US$2.04B (bb-99)

Ah, Thanks BB. I was confusing NPV with gross revenue. (It's been a while). I think I'm going to use the numbers in the March 2019 NI 43-101, as these would be the most accurate and recent numbers. Presumably the drilling that was done since should be added to an updated NI in the not too distant future. It would be nice if those numbers add to the overall reserve size, however, they may ...more

"I hope they get serious about getting Jarandol back".  IMO, they are serious, or our new Director wouldn't of completed an application to pusue the exploration license. This will be their last opportunity given to drill the basinby Erin. We heard TD state at the AGM that was going to be discussed with the new proposed Partner when the time was right. Did Tim mention Pobrdje at all at the meeting?  Sure would be nice to see that going, but probably too much paperwork for the different parties to wade through.  It will no doubt come our way after we don't really need it.
Comment by minepic on Dec 22, 2020 12:22pm
It was not mentioned and I agree it will come our way. Many eyes are on this deal that EV made. The Serbs should be quite a bit more serious in awarding us the existing deposit now that we have a mining partner. Although we don't "need" it, the timing of getting into production would be significantly quicker than a mine developement and build on Piskanja. Great pilot project that ...more

Nice to have a partner with deep pockets, structural positive cash flow and marketing experience... These hard hitters look ready to ready to finally bring us some real business!  But seriously, wtf are these people supposed to bring in here? They don't have a dime in cash, no operations or cash flow to back up loans, some worthless properties, and several million loans outstanding to ...more

I agree with some of your thoughts Kees. Basically, we are giving away half of Piskanja for a better management team at a well connected exploration miner that will take us a long way to production. If Probdje never happens this is not a bad option as we could easily double our float to get to the same spot in a much longer timeframe. However, if we do get Probdje, hopefully we can dump Temas ...more

Better management remains to be seen. although after a multi year near standstill, everything could be supposed to be an improvement.  The connections you speak of, by the way:j - a ceo (I think it was the ceo, whose bio is 6/7 filled with text pertaining to him doing something a Red Lake / Campbell (what was it...?), looong time ago. Hey who is holding you here. If this is not an investment for you then sell and move on. Never mind all the crying. Nobody told you to buy. If nothing here is good enough for you then sell and take some with you. If something here is not straight up there are people to watch things like that.

Uterreborn.. Nobody is dumping anybody period. Are you out of your mind. They are miners we are not. Did we drill the entire area. NO. We are open in many areas. Don't you think that maybe we should keep on drilling.. Don't you think we should look to engage in getting the basin back. Do you not think we have enough to do yet. They have thier place in this and we have ours. Think man ...more

Hi Lanagold, Let me better explain the points I was making. There is little doubt that EV made the potential deal with Temas (and Investco) from a position of weakness. That being said, I am glad the offer was made, given the current situation. However, if Probdje comes our way soon, we would not be in a position where we have to give away 50% of Piskanja. The profits from the small deposit (I ...more

Weakness I don't know about that. IF you get the small deposit and I for one think you will how do you suggest we pay for that upgrade and modernizing of the site. My best GUESS 10M. Then all the day to day things. Then this has nothing to do with Piskanja. Where do you suggest we get the money to build that mill. What do we pay the qualified people to do that work with and we don't need ...more

Ironically, it seems like I am more optimistic about Probdje's impact on EV than you are! Here is how I see this playing out if Prob is dropped in our lap tomorrow: This definite material change need only have a small impact on the SP to trigger the tens of millions of warrants being excersized bringing in several millions of dollars. Not hard to predict as most of the strike prices are sub $ ...more

That is one of your problems. They are mining by hand. In order for Tim to achieve your 1M a month you will need to build a mill. I believe that number was used as I remember sometime ago. The debt financing was only to be used on the small deposit. You could not go and start doing work on Piskanja to. Then you build a mill at the small deposit then what at Piskanja. Run two ops. I don't know. ...more

Hello, UterReborn, great to hear from you again. Don't know if you have read this attachment which was released earlier in the year.  It summarizes Piskanja and the Jarandol basin boron deposits accurately, but does not comment on Pobrdje. https://smallcaps.us/erin-ventures-secures-promising-property-adjacent-to-core-piskanja-project/ With regards to Pobrdje, supposedly there is a 4 ...more

Hi BB, I hope you are having a lovely holiday. Thank you for this. Where was it from? As I am starting over my DD on this investment, I would like to begin my re-analysis on Jarandol. Can you suggest where I might find resource estimates on Jarandol? Thank you, Nobodysfuel

Nobodysfuel, I located the info on the Jarandol basin from a  news release of Jan 3, 2020- https://www.erinventures.com/media/nws_d.php?id=222 To date Erin has drilled 8 holes in the Jarandol basin area. Attached is the drill hole summary for holes drilled- https://www.erinventures.com/media/nws_d.php?id=139 (bb-99)

Hi BB, It's nice to see that the drill holes in Jarandol with significant levels of Boron were in a new direction and not directly inbetween Pobrdje and Piskanja. This indicates to me that it's a possibly new deposit with lots of upside potential. I'm interested in the relationship between Kop/Dusan Podunavac and EV with respect to Jarandol. (This is obviously down the road). Do you ...more

Nobodysfuel, Once the Jarandol basin has more drilling completed, the results will confirm the property has a large quantity of borates present. It has been known for years through research projects completed by the Mining Institute of Serbia university mining students have confirmed there is borates present in the Jarandol basin. This fact is documented in their published papers, check it out ...more

Thanks for your comments, BB. Was it contract announcements to be forth coming? I remember BF saying more news would be forth coming, but I don't recall it specifically being about contracts. I could be wrong. I will search for the Serbian student papers. Thanks and Happy New Year to all! BL

Nobodysfuel, here is a portion of a publication that was prepared by author Malinko. Apparently the borates present at the Jarandol basin are a calcium colemanite type, which is similar to borates at Piskanja.  ETI Mine Works, the Turkish State owned borate company produces calcium colemanite as well, similar to our products, but sells at a much higher price/tonne.    https:/ ...more
