Is Bioasis getting the attention it requires?

Very petty and unsubstantiated comment by Alfred. I prefer a hard working CEO who is well connected in Biotech.Period.
Comment by AlfredSisley on Nov 28, 2020 4:45pm
There is nothing petty or unsubstantiated about this. 1 person holding 2 CEO roles - By definition neither can be full-time, especially considering how active her other company has been on the partnering front over the last few months (one of the reasons she was brought on). Perhaps her role at Bioasis does not require singificant amount of time at present, however, DRDR has been consistent ...more

Right on, OB. We live in a time of auto-pilot outrage. Don't think, just wax indignant, shoot from the lip. Stamp your feet, snort and puke a hairball onto the keyboard. Have a conniption. Breathe heavy. Scowl. Post a heavy. Anything but put any thought into it.  Davenport

Exactly. Zero thought from Alfred into his post. My CEO can run 5 companies as long as they produce. Especially in this Biotech world. Contacts. Relationships. Experience. Inter-company connections etc -all can far outweight 'distraction'. I read Alfred's post and i was thinking Bioasis was a snow plow company with the CEO driving the plow.  My lord.

This is an old joke, but apropos. A lady had a banging radiator and called the plumber. The plumber came over and surveyed the situation. After a few moments of thought he pulled out a hammer and gave the radiator an almighty bang. The hammering stopped. A few days later the lady received a bill from the plumber for $225. Outraged, she called the plumber and asked him how he could charge her ...more

Obviously ... the door did not hit you on the way out!   I thought ( hopefully )  that after MPT 123 comments you were done here! History tells me no way possible that you will go away, Look at the board for the past few months, Right! Quiet! Why? You were not posting here! Go away! You are toxic! You have done nothing here!  You have done nothing to help BTI!  ...more

Alfred; thanks for the information that you posted.  Very interesting.  And thanks to JD for his thoughtful and informative first response.  It's too bad that things deteriorated to the point of accusations of "vomiting hairballs." You did not deserve that. GLTA

Yo, gff, roadkill IS appropriate, hits the nail on the head, actually. It's not an accusation. It's a statement of fact, as you will see. This was not a "first response" but shows how far behind you've been. I've been discussing this stuff since March with the important part of the shareholder network that wants and needs to discuss the immense prospects that Bioasis has ...more

a few thoughts from a shareholder with close to 700K shares 1. as long as the ceo is able to fully fulfill here duties and maxmize the best interests of the company, i am fine if she is the head of more than 1 company. i can't say i love it but if it does not hurt the company, it is what it is 2. the BBB peptide technology is a platform. it does not make much sense, given the size of this ...more

Roadkill? what? Not a first response? You responded to Alfreds post in March, eight months before it was posted? You are just too smart for us, the unimportant members of the shareholder network. We don't know or understand.  It's so hard.

Hummm,,,for me it will be DrDRs ability to meet the timeline and or pull it forward for the XB3-001 HER2 Brain Cancer Metastasis trial. All side deals is additional gravy for us. We are looking out to sometime in the first quarter of '22 for Phase l. I am hoping this date does not slide more. Companies having the same CEO is more common than one knows. One doesn't have to look far to find ...more

Although I don't know anything about Carina I would assume that they did some DD before they hired DrDR. They were obviously fully aware of her roll at Bioasis so to me this speaks well regarding their assessment of her abilities and I view this as just further confirmation that we probably have a very capable person leading Bioasis. Sort of confirms the old adage if you want to get something ...more

I've had to discuss the "part time" question with several shareholders since Caroline Dircks was terminated. ("Terminated" is the word used about Dircks in the MD&A, page 9.) Within a couple of weeks after Dircks' departure became evident with her removal from the corporate presentation, the pandemic started, with Dr. Rathjen returning to Australia where she's ...more

So now our 3 employee company now has a CEO who works part-time??? And our PR "person" who has had lots of long great chats with the good ol DrR blah blah about the company and it's vision and it never got brought up once??? Oh eh BTW with all this amazing poetnetial here and the all the money I can make I'm gonna give you half my time and CEO for two companies..Then come on here ...more

I'm glad I dropped in today.  If I was just an observer, I'd say this is great entertainment.  As a shareholder, not so much. We have bozos on this board trying to spin an undisclosed part-time CEO as a positive thing.  Absolutely incredible. Is our investor relations guru, Graeme D, asleep here ?  Would it not occur to him to suggest that the investor view of the CEO ...more

i don't think investors love the idea of our ceo being involved with multiiple companies but she seems much better than the previous ceo, i have seen often that these small bios with a platform drug/technology, are not actively advancing drugs because of the time and cost to do so. they just don't have the resources to do so.  instead, they get big pharma involved who will license ...more

I agree, Finallytherock. The more that Bioasis substitutes partnerships for in-house work, the less in-house activity and employees there are to supervise, and more time to be spent waiting for other people's work, results and news.  When I see AstraZeneca pay Daiichi Sankyo USD $1.35 billion (that's a "b" not an "m") up front and contingent payments of ...more

the ceo needs to deliver. i am very happy she landed chiasi as this valiates the platform and brings a big pharma onboard to drive the ship. again, not to repeat myself, but this is a platform technology. bioaf does not have to do much work at this point (well, not entirely true) aside from shoping this technology around to big pharma. if they like it, like chiasi did, then we sign a deal with ...more
