This shows how the Financing Market is out there

For many Biotech alike.  Bioasis is no different.

"Gilead to Acquire All Remaining Rights to Potential First-in-Class Immunotherapy GS-1811 From Jounce Therapeutics"

This for Jounce shareholders is almost criminal.

Yes, before the resident but job mouths off, I know this has nothing to do with Bioasis.

My point is that DR probably had no other option other than to file C11.

There is not this big "conspiracy" that the nut job wants you to believe.

The expert, craighenry, states that without the Midatech deal Bioasis would have to declare Chapter 11. Why would a Canadian company declare bankruptcy using American Chapter 11 bankruptcy laws? Could they do that? Nah. Besides, if Chapter 11 or Canada's equivalent CCAA could be used, then Bioasis could be given time to raise money and to make payment arrangements with creditors. With Dr ...more

Craig, I would contend that DrDR set up the bankruptcy threat, not that she's simply responding to that threat. I mean, maybe I missed it, but did DrDR try to do an equity financing? How does she know that Bioasis couldn't raise money? If she were gone, could Bioasis raise money?  G'nite, Craig. You shovel what you have to shovel. I'm going out to shovel the driveway ...more

"Money could be found" yeah!! Good one JD. How many failed financings did DR attempt? Lolololol What a clown

craig asked, "How many failed financings did DR attempt?" How many do you remember, craig? Maybe I'm getting too old to remember all the financings she's attempted. JD

I believe there were two that were mentioned/ tossed around. I also remember we spoke about potential financings when we were on a call with her. And she explained the difficulty of raising cash at that point in time.   Get help psycho

Resident Nut Job - you obviously dont remember the PP for 5 million (give or take a few) that could NOT be filled. You know.... the PP that your buddy crispi bought into. Well, because you and crispi were the only ones that could "read between the lines" LMFAO!!!!!!!!

There were two financings, craig, one that was announced and closed in May 2019. That was friends of the family helping out, if I recall. The other was the Boustead Securities, LLC financing. I can't say much about that one except that it crumbled  before any real effort was put into it because a legal or policy technicality on the part of the US potential participants. That was ...more

I was under the impression there were some interested investor(s) earlier in the year but that the proposed investment could not or did not pass muster with the TSX. I have no other specifics on this but certainly any other financing would have been better than what we are currently faced with from a shareholder standpoint.

For those of you familiar with Jounce..... with this deal Jounce left about 700 million dollars in potential milestone payments on the table. Very sad.
