I live 22 miles from a refinery. The hoops they had to jump through, the EIA, the noise abatement, ground water protection, explosion and safety prove out systems, etc, etc, are all part of normal development course of action. The company will meet them because that is the regulation norm now and already factored in for cost in the development. I watched the video and the faces of the people in it ...more

They get fed information (remember the global warming fraud) and buy it hook line and sinker, eat it, breath it until it becomes like religion. But I bet she still drives a car and uses a computer and wants heat in her home. Too funny, it all has costs of development.

they probably have been looping the movie Erin Brockovich on the local cable tv. lolThis is like a landfill, everyone uses it, but no one wants it in their backyard! It will create employment, tax revenues, and local spinoffs. Usually, the almightly dollar wins.

You know whats really interesting ? Again, I understand their argument to some degree, but economic development is the lifeblood of any micro or macro economic picture. In this case, there are some issues of design which can be corrected or improved. Its interesting to me how people become sheep and parrots without really understanding what it takes to produce and supply the products they use ...more
