I am optomistic on recent activity , land sales and discoveries . I also agree that we are at a bottom and dont see us going much lower , who would sell at these levels. Any stock that goes up 40% and comes right back down with in days around and before the press release has to be manipulated . When the market was falling on Greece worries and the Alberta bakken was taking a back seat to any sort of momentum in the area . I had just invested in Dee Three I was at one point down 60% from my buy in. Takes a lot of courage to double my position at those levels . Fundamentaly I was confident it would come around . Now I am above water on my investment and with more positive news in the area only feel that stock will edge higher .
BWD as a company has never been in a better situation. Stock price just isn't reflective of that . I emailed the CFO of BWD before there press release that they were seeking strategic alternatives . Asking him when we could expect some info on company activity . He couldn't answer me directly , which I figured but I wanted to see what they had to say . Here is part of what he said :
Yes the recent lift has been very encouraging for all of us. There has been some pretty good results from different areas in the play and there is no reason why it shouldn’t continue. The Legacy deal I believe this is a good deal for both companies, the fruit is there to be picked.
I would be happy to share more information Tyler but we have to tell everyone at the same time so a little more patience is required.I will just have to wait to see how the chess pieces shift in the area .
