RE: Another Well for Torc stones throw away

RE: Another Well for Torc stones throw away

I think and not being a geologist here I could be wrong that the play for Murphy, Torc, D3 is the Big Valley and Stettler which is under the Bakken Petroleum System. So if this is the case then that shifts the focus of the field east. I would imagine that BWD would still be exposed though and probably quite significantly. This I guess is were Legacy's slowness and science will pay off because they can interpret what they know about what Torc, DTX and GSY did and adapt it for next round of drilling. Good news this week from DTX would go aways towards confirming this. So basically instead of chasing a tight, shale play we would be chasing a conventional deep devonian carbonate play. Ala Beaverhill Lake. Either way seems like progress is being made, just not by us. Haha.

The schematic on page 2 of the link is a visual representation of this.

Our press releases are very confusing as they talk about the "Bakken Petroleum System" which appears to be everything Banff, Exshaw and Big Valley. It would appear from the licenses that TORC goes further down then the others and focuses on Stettler and Big Valley as opposed to focusing on the Exshaw. D3 licensed a super deep well so that must be there plan. Have to look at old licenses I guess and see what the targets and depths are and compare to what we have been doing. Or wait for public info. Haha.
