60 days would be streching it!! id be willing to bet it will be 30-40 at the most unless problems.  murphy does it in under a month nexen was a month argosy just over a month. they will have a good idea when the go sideways in the payzone. they will head directional id say 10-15 days then run intermediate casing.

Here is the well ticket for the CPG 14-7 well.  Drilling time to get to 3166 m of total hole was 30 days.  This well was spud on July 24, 2010 and rig released on August 25, 2010.  It was cased with 7" intermediate casing to 2070 m and then drilled HZ with a 4-1/2" liner in the HZ leg from 2031 - 3161 m.The BWD well should take at least this long if not more as it is being

I would suggest that surface casing should be set now, intermediate casing set at the top of the pay and production casing set at final total measured depth. Time to drill is also dependant on hole sizes. 30 to 40 days would suit me. Show me the money!!

Good post, pricecheck!!I heard that the surface location for this well was on top of a hill and just off a high grade road so we should be uneffected by break up.....there should be losts of gravel there too

Here is the last week of trading. While 7.2 million shares may seem like a lot, you must remember that BWD has a gigantic number of shares outstanding at over 274 million. 1.6 million bought on the open market by Clarus last week is a definite vote of confidence.  Retailers looking at the play from the outside in don't realize the bulk of Bowood shares were acquired by investors and insiders below .25 cents & at the .25 cent pp.  So while we have alot of shares outstanding, when this region starts to take off, the actual investors and longs here

I'm curious to know where you got the number of shares at 274 million.  SH snapshot says 186 million; still a lot, but a market cap of $90 million is a lot less than $135 million... And, more easily moved...

Page 16 of their current presentation lists 274 mm shares out with fully diluted at 290 mm.  I am guessing you are looking at the Q3-11 capitalization table which may not have included the $22mm financing done at .25 a share in September-10.If the deal had not closed by the end of the quarter it would have been a subsequent event and therefore won't show up until they file their Q4-10

Yep, I bet you're right, thanks.  I was looking at the Stockhouse snapshot, but their numbers are probably dated.  Here's hoping Legacy knows what they're doing...
