Having worked indirectly for Treaty 7 here is my 2 cents

2010 Indian and Northern Affairs Canada has in escrow $50 million from Bowood and Murphy
$122,000 is Bowood's rent/year
2011 A 50-50 partnership was signed with Native American Resource Partners $100-million capital commitment to Blood tribe

Due to the Indian Act First Nations cannot borrow from banks so they turn to Quantum

I hope we still get Kipp news soon. I'm happy that they put out the for sale sign. The land is good but the play is so complex and expensive that it is way beyond the capabilities of BWD to even participate in development. I think the 0.40 cent target that Haywood has is fair. To handicap the running I would say Legacy is number one, Shell number two, NARP would be number 3 and Torc would be ...more
