Hydro Power Transmission Service Agreement

Here's a new one in the MD&A. Lining up power to the mine is a solid first indicator.

On February 25, 2022 Canada Nickel entered into a Transmission Service (Wheeling) and Project Development Agreement (the "Crawford TSA") with Transmission Infrastructure Partnerships 1 Limited ("TIP1") pursuant to which TIP1 has agreed to develop, construct and operate a 230kV transmission line and related facilities to connect the Crawford Project to the Hydro One Porcupine Transmission System (the "Crawford Transmission Network") and enable Canada Nickel to receive electricity supply for the Crawford Project.

The initial term of the Crawford TSA will commence on the date of completion of the applicable conditions precedent, discussed below, and end on the twenty-fifth anniversary of the date the Phase 2 System (as defined below) reaches its commercial operation date. The Crawford TSA also includes a renewal term of five additional years, subject to the parties election to renew. The effectiveness of the Crawford TSA is subject to a number of conditions precedent including receipt of all applicable regulatory approvals, commencement of applicable environmental assessments, securing the applicable real property surface rights, and a number of ancillary agreements relating to the development, financing, and operation of the Crawford Transmission Network.

The customer charges to be paid by Canada Nickel to TIP1 under the term of the Crawford TSA shall be determined by an independent engineer, consistent with comparable market charges, and are intended to allow TIP1 to recover the full cost of designing, developing, constructing, owning and operating the Crawford Transmission Line over the term and to provide a reasonable rate of return on TIP1's invested capital

Haaa, 46% of 58 cents isn't really that great :s
Comment by EndZonefor7 on Apr 06, 2022 1:01am
Exactly. CNC could halt for several catalyst events and double overnight. Would suck to be on the outside. Oilers fan explains it. :)
Comment by N3tPr0phet on Apr 06, 2022 10:47am
You are aware that percentages work the same irrespective of the underlying quantities, right? Dollars invested is a far more important metric than shares held.
Comment by EndZonefor7 on Apr 06, 2022 10:54am
If you're trying for bragging rights on a penny stock it's a very average event. Especially in a hot sector.
Comment by N3tPr0phet on Apr 06, 2022 10:56am
I have nearly a million shares in FPX with an average cost basis of 10c and think the project is significantly more robust than CNC for a ton of reasons that you cheerleaders refuse to acknowledge.
Comment by EndZonefor7 on Apr 06, 2022 11:57am
Well the market agrees with us as per the huge market cap difference. It's an old project from over 10 years ago.  No First Nations deals, way less nickel, hundreds of millions if not a billion more in infastructure costs etc etc. I don't even see one analyst report, if there is it's buried and not talked about by you. CNC has 7. Can you please quit pumping your stock on here ...more

If you bailed a few months ago why come back on this board to toot your horn! Post on FPX's board!
Comment by EndZonefor7 on Apr 05, 2022 9:46pm
Because hardly no one posts there. Which explains why it's half the market cap of CNC.

$297 million MC for CNC.
Comment by N3tPr0phet on Apr 06, 2022 10:52am
Yeah, you're right. Deal close must not have been reflected on Stockhouse last might. Half the MC = twice the upside. The further down the market cap is relatove to the project's NAV, the more room there is for share price appreciation, ceteris paribus.
Comment by N3tPr0phet on May 30, 2023 9:19pm
Woof. This aged well :^)
Comment by EndZonefor7 on May 30, 2023 10:03pm
At least CNC got $26 million for 9.9% and drills dozens of times more than 10 holes a year. At the rate FPX is piecing themselves out they'll have 800 million shares out by the time they have a mine in about 10 years and still under $1.    Why isn't the trailer park gang over there slagging their CEO and lower grade than CNC?
Comment by N3tPr0phet on May 30, 2023 10:20pm
Maybe, maybe not.  The only sure thing is that you've been on the wrong side of this trade for over a year.
Comment by EndZonefor7 on May 30, 2023 10:49pm
Like thousands of others in the nickel and copper stocks in a bear market. FPX has popped a frigging dime dude, a dime. CNC just discovered 6 more Crawfords ffs.
Comment by N3tPr0phet on May 30, 2023 10:59pm
They closed a private placement at a 40% premium with one of the largest nickel consumers in a shitty market.  Their market cap is virtually the same as CNC's after this deal and your "dime" verbiage is a humerous coping mechanism.
Comment by EndZonefor7 on May 31, 2023 12:22am
You missed the main point as usual. CNC just discovered 6 more potential Crawfords plus they have Texmont, plus they have Reid, Delero etc. FPX has limited exploration upside, where CNC has 10 to 20 bagger upside with a real mine producing in 2025 at Texmont plus is a third of the way through permitting for Crawford by 2027. Todays market cap will not be anywhere close to FPX in the next year ...more

Only a 10 bagger now?  At 4 dollars you were saying this was on its way to being a 50 billion dollar market cap making it a 250 bagger. But now at close to a dollar you are saying a 10 bagger with a new collection of properties.  This makes no sense. Again, you tout the possibilities through Dumont another low grade deposit.  Yet RNC shareholders only got 40 million for Dumont ...more

Endzone, you are missing the point as usual. The Market wants a CEO to follow through with their statements. How many times has the "Bankable Feasabilty Study" been delayed? You don't make several statements "we are on track to deliver by year end". You don't sit by when the Governemnt makes a new annoucement that could potentially refund a good chunk of your Capex ...more

The government money went from 30% to 60% with the carbon capture credits news. If you're going to produce a zero carbon deposit you need to show any carmaker or battery maker the real CC numbers.   You'd also have to be an idiot to not see the hundreds of millions saved every year making the mine almost free to build/ operate and increase the odds of a buyout by a major.  Your ...more

Agreed Endzone. Even though I didn't like the delay in feasibility or other delayed news releases, I think this time was warranted. What I don't like is how they flipped flopped. First they tell us they are on track to release by year end. At that time, they knew full well about the program, only to use it 2 weeks late as an excuse to delay. They should have told us then and there about their true intentions. That just follows a consistent pattern of missed deadlines.
Comment by CanadianPatriot on May 31, 2023 2:43pm
Endzone you've been yammering about carbon credits for three years now.  So in a span of two weeks as was stated by PC Guy over the holiday season the realization came that you needed another two quarters to integrate Carbon Credit analysis?  And just to confirm end of Quarter 2 means June or does it mean September? Why wasn't this integrated into the feasibility?  Why not ...more

Not that simple to use a 2 step approach CanadianPatriot. When is the last time a govt was quick and efficient in approving anything? If they submitted once and then came back and resubmitted, it would restart the process not to mention maybe not allow it to even go through If the first one was accepted. I'm ok with this delay. It's another one that would bother me. GLTA

Why do the trolls demand answers over and over when they own no shares ? Must be the FPX crew bummed out their one day pop us over.     If I was so disgruntled the delays I would have sold ages ago, not harp like an old man yelling at the clouds. Suck it up or f off as they always say.

It's not rocket science ,you're sticking a pipe feeding into a vessel and mixing it all up and venting it off. If you can't grasp the most simple of processes then once again please sell and move on. Oh right you don't own any.
Comment by CanadianPatriot on May 31, 2023 11:13pm
There is a difference between a simpleton explanation and validating that the process is feasible and economical. Who has used this before?  Or is it one of many academic theories that gets tested and then fails.

It seems that selling carbon credits to major polluters is just a way for them to keep polluting yet advertising net zero. A major meat producer is already buying carbon credits from producers through a third party who then applies a credit to the producer’s account. Nobody can answer the following questions: how are they determining the amount of credits producers have; how much is a credit ...more

No my old troll line didn't wear out. You still haven't explained why the Carbon Credit news came out in Late November, then Mid December they still said they were on track to release by year end. They should have told us Mid December  that the 30-60% credit was a game changer and will cause a 6 month delay. Not like I said, leading us on and leaving us stranded.
