CNC in the Globe today

The Globe and Mail reports in its Thursday, Dec. 22, edition that Haywood Securities analyst Pierre Vaillancourt sees "significant investor catalysts ahead" for Canada Nickel. The Globe's David Leeder writes that Mr. Vaillancourt Haywood has upgraded Canadian Nickel to "buy" from "hold." He is sticking with his $2.50 share target. Analysts on average target the shares at $3.93. Mr. Vaillancourt issued his upgrade following Monday's announcement of the acquisition of a 100-per-cent interest in the past-producing Texmont property situated between the company's Deloro and Sothman properties south of Timmins, Ont. It is expected to provide "near-term smaller scale production potential" and is seen as "highly complementary" to its flagship Crawford nickel-cobalt sulphide project. Mr. Vaillancourt says in a note: "Texmont provides an opportunity for CNC to fulfill near-term demand from EV consumers, and with smaller scale production potential, offers investors an option in CNC as a future producer, well in advance of what can be expected from the large scale Crawford project. ... In addition, CNC is in discussions with a strategic investor for a 10- to 20-per-cent stake which could be announced in 1Q23."

NiCuAgfan, we're going to hit those targets much, much quicker than what that writer posted. The rule of thumb for Analyst targets are usually about a year out. People are in for a shock... Will post late in the day with some targets when I get a chance. I don't think people quite realize yet what's about to happen. GLTA
