“Basically, we have agreed plans with both the MTO (Ministry of Transportation) for the highway, as well as Hydro One for the power lines. There has been an agreed upon re-routing. The map for that is in the feasibility study. There are separate permits for each of those that need to be done. We’ll be going through that process between now and that mid-2025 construction date,” he said

People keep squacking on CEO.ca about the mine will never be built because of the road. Whatever issues my prevent this from being built, moving the highway is not one of them! Highway 101 was re-routed, and Three Nations Lake was dammed and half drained to accomodate the Pamour Super Pit. Compated to that, moving 655 is not an issue. Besides Hwy 655 didn't exist until the late 1970's ...more
