Whatever issues my prevent this from being built, moving the highway is not one of them!

Highway 101 was re-routed, and Three Nations Lake was dammed and half drained to accomodate the Pamour Super Pit. Compated to that, moving 655 is not an issue.

Besides Hwy 655 didn't exist until the late 1970's. It was built to extend the Kidd Creek Highway all the way to Hwy 11 as a short cut to Cochrane and Kapuskasing instead of having to go all the way around the clock Via Matheson or Fredrickhouse Lake.
