RE:Good read from Mountain Hous Partners

RE:Good read from Mountain Hous PartnersI had to read this one a couple of times, there's a lot here in only a short passage. As has already been pointed out by many, among other factors, the negative sentiment created by several banks (prodominantly MS) in the battery metals space has in turn triggered a lack of investment which may just result in a self fullfilling prophecy of sorts that derails the whole EV revolution, albeit temporarily, hence the need for patience.

The industry is clearly starved for capital and while it’s true that assets can get cheaper, the requirement for funding to electrify transport is needed now – not in 2025 or beyond.  Any significant delay in capital allocation here almost assures a delay in more widespread EV uptake.

In other words, investment in this sector requires more patience than most growth investors are likely accustomed to

As a CRE shareholder of about 10 years, like many on this board, it's hard to be told over and over to be patient. Obviously, I wish I had run out of patience 2 years ago and sold at $1.80, I would be completely out of debt today had I done so, instead I was patient and so now I am even deeper in debt. I really hope my patience will be rewarded sometime before 2025 but frankly I am really not sure how JSL and Haber are going to pull it off with our SP in the 30's. I'm really hoping they have a rabbit in their hat somewhere because it's starting to feel like amagic trick is going to be needed. Only 8 more months til the next AGM, what are the odds that we'll have a deal by then???
