What are the chances . . .

of this stock hitting $5 in the next couple of months?

In other words, what are the chances of cre getting its Quebec permit in the next couple of months?

I am afraid that the word "permit" is as clich as Covid19.  The market is forward-looking and discounts any clich.   Could it be that the market already know that CRE will get the permit sooner or later? Who knows if not the market already discounts that permit in?   Who knows if the market won't sell the news upon its announcement?

If you look at LAC.TO's monthly chart, its MACD is also death-crossed like CRE's.   The difference is that LAC.TO's SP is at an elevated position while CRE has been moving side-ways for one-year-plus.   This may mean that LAC.TO has a lot downside to go while CRE.V does not.

I have seen people use it that way.   MACD is a derivative of MA and it's a more stable trend.   And it's application works on MACD well.

Blaggers, it's officially called "MACD Crossover" like "When the MACD crossover below the signal line, it is a bearish signal." But in short, people call it MACD death cross.   It's the same thing.

Blagger, you are talking about the daily chart when you said "LAC is close to a Death Cross (50 MA moves down through the 200) whereas CRE made a Golden Cross last week." I am talking about the monthly chart when I said "If you look at LAC.TO's monthly chart, its MACD is also death-crossed like CRE's."

LAC's upward trend is because they will be producing later this year. Revenue!

I second that.

And who knows if any fanfare wrt the incoming permit is a setup for some market participants to distribute the shares, like what I witnessed in early April?
