What you don't seem to be able to grasp is that according to the real experts on this site it would be to CUU's benefit if Teck did not back-in. Then the entire resource would belong to CUU . Teck picks up this resource (75%) for a pittence. Their CEO would be fired if they failed to back in. If they don't back-in CUU gets the resource for money spent.
