Fears of recession hammering Cu prices

Well looks like Cu prices are falling due to recession fears.  Better hurry up and sell this POS LOL.  Wonder what the Agora pumpers are thinking now?  May explain why CUU has been selling off recently.   Here's a link to the article on why Cu prices may fall further and why gold and pms may rise in this environment:

Well another coolaid drinking pumper!  LOL  Don't shoot the messenger bud.  If you have good reason to believe a recession is not around the corner I would love to see it!  Debate me on the facts.  No one wants a recession but look at the facts.  US GDP dropped significantly the 1st qtr.  China manufacturing slowing down.  Layoffs increasing.  All ...more

Ok, but it does not answer my question. I think that if theres a recession, gold and silver will also go down to a certain point and probably rebound first, but they should not continue to climb.  Thats what history tells me. MoneyK

IF we get a recession and by the time it is officially called a recession (months after the second negative ...more

Hey golf, I would respectfully disagree with you on some points.  Imho, we have not reached the depths of a full blown recession yet.  A recession will usually hit its depth when labour and employment contract significantly.  That hasn't happened yet as the labour market is still very strong.  Labour is usually a lagging indicator as companies don't fire people at the ...more

If a recession is coming everyone should be in cash, as even gold and silver stocks will be much cheaper for a certain period if that happens. MoneyK
