Halt pending "company news...."
As stated earlier, generally a halt by company request means news like a PP or new contracts, etc., etc. This extended delay has all the markings of bad news, imo. The only good news coming out of this would be they have been bought out or taken private. I would think the CSS is worth something, if it hasn't gone out of date already. jmo

Your post is sensible and rational Oldtimer....... but, until ‘Hack, Lubow and others’ either know for sure 1/The TSX are not going to take their own action against the current BOD in response to the numerous shareholder complaints filed last February and b/ What the current BOD plan to do to move this forward ...... until the there is no point in commencing legal action.

I think something is definitely out of the ordinary, USUALLY a halt pending company news is a few hours in most cases and sometimes a day or two but a WEEK. I'm guessing it's either really GOOD news or it's really BAD. Still thinking good thoughts.

I guess if cvm was working on a financing that fell through they might not issue news. We will find out within 90 minutes.

That's my thinking. Either that or the TSX is taking action at long last against them. Either way they are clearly not in control of the release as you don't have a trading halt at the company's request pending news. I'll take either of those options frankly.

Nastro, your first point is taken, but it was halted by the company and not the commission. And yes, the halt was made by the company.
