To fall back on any negative interactions between oats and statins, it's great that the protocol of the study was modified to allow some patients to take the BG pill alone.

With 3 different dosages of BG one will be able to graph the interaction between BG dosage and statins. Perhaps there is an optimum level of BG to max. the overall effectiveness if both can be used simultaneously.
