good point. I don't think we are far off. I will ask. The price just keeps rising. Increase in October wasn't huge but it was positive.

Accordin to the feasability study the magic number is $79. That said the actual price today is hard to pinpoint. The price for 30% is about $90 and Arianne's purity of 39% gets a much higher price. The feasability study was done before all the impovements so it is safe to say the $79 level is much lower. Basically the mine would be profitable even in today's price range at historic lows.

Thanks for those numbers, Tweez.  Encouraging. I think covid has hurt phosphate prices a great deal.  Fertilizer helps not only crops for human and animal consumption, but also pine trees for paper and packing materials, and various plants for the production of biofuels.  Paper and biofuels surely took a hit as economies around the world slowed down. Phosphate prices are rising ...more

also watch how the tariffs unfold. Presently it affects the morrocan and russian imports. Mosaic has to import from Saudi Arabia.

DAN is one of the few phosphate stocks in my portfolio. I have followed it for 10 years now. Not sure why everyone is saying phos prices are moving slow. In 2 months we have saw price of MAP in western Canada go from $600/tonne to $750 a tonne. Currently some very large retailers dont even have a price on it and cannot sell more at this time. The fertilizer market is strictly on fire with the ...more
