so, let me get this straight.  you don't buy them, you just sell them?  Do you borrow the shares first then sell them? How do you pay back the shares?  Do you have to wait for them to go down and then buy them? interesting... I'll have to try that some day.

Yes, just like buying your're betting the stock to go up. On the short sell your're betting it will go down. On the venture it's obvious many of these companies will never amount to anything for every 10 you short 1 may squeeze you and you have to buy most of them spike in price then fall.

I guess you still have to investigate the company though to know what you are shorting.  I have done quite a bit of research into this one and I would not want to be short right now.   In my opinion, this halt has nothing to do with Doubleview getting evicted.  We may differ on that opinion though. What are you hoping it will go down to?  What did you short it at? Just

I haven't done anything here yet. The upside momentum in price is still here. If the TCG get their way then I think the downside could be half of what the stock price is now or lower. Doesn't matter what your trading you need to wait for the swing in momentum up or down. See what happens.

The BC Gov issued the permits without full consultation with the TCG. The TCG will fight for Sheslay to stay undeveloped, they have been for years.
