UNDERVALUED

  1. Drilling has taken place on the property in the period 1990 to 2019, with drilling mostly on the LG vein. Drilling for porphyry copper-gold has taken place in Del Norte Creek in the Hardpan mineral showings. Drilling for VMS deposits has taken place just to the east of the LG and LG Extension veins, now labelled the Argo zone.

  2. Mineralization is hosted in quartz veins, sheared graphitic tuff and breccias as well as coarse crystalline base metals in these shear zones. Shearing with associated mineralization has been identified over a strike length of 4 km along the volcanic/sediment contact.

  3. In addition to the above mentioned mineralized structural break, the property hosts demonstrated porphyry copper-gold mineralization at depth in the Del Norte valley and potential VMS mineralization.

4.Exploration in the area of the former LG vein indicated or discovered the following:

  • Indicated that the LG vein was part of a larger shear system now labelled the Argo.

  • Discovered the Eagle’s Nest zone west of the Argo zone.

  • Located a zone called the New zone west of the Eagle’s Nest.

  • Interpretation of results on the K-zone that indicate it can be traced for 1.4 km.

               5. Based on the 2020 exploration drilling, it appears that the Argo zone is 1250 m long with indicated true widths in excess of 15 m and an indicated depth extent greater than 300m. The zone is open along strike and depth. In addition, a second, deeper mineralized zone up to 5 m wide was intersected in holes testing the area of DDH 04-20.

           6. The newly defined zone called the “14 oz zone is along the Lord Nelson/Del Norte property boundary.

  • Exploration on the Lord Nelson tenures indicate gold-copper bearing zones that occur over an area at least 120m to 200m wide.

  • Work to date indicates that the zones appear to occur over at least 1.2 km long with copper mineralization located along a ridge top NW of the ‘14’ oz zone.

  • Gold values ranging from 0.7 g/t to 475 g/t and copper values ranging from 1.4 to 11.9 % in grab samples were obtained.

  • VG identified in surface channel saw cuts on the “14 oz” zone.

  • 10 m wide chalcopyrite rich zone with VG in the first drill hole on the Del Norte/Lord Nelson boundary.

 ARGO ZONE : 1250*15*300*10gr/t*2.7 / 30 = OVER 5 MILLION OZ POTENTIAL

Great breakdown Ogny. I recall similariities with Skeena's Eskay Creek being pointed out regarding the characteristics and potential of this project. SKE has a resource of 4 million ounces and the same number of shares out (214 million) and currenty trades at $2.45 cdn with a mkt cap of $525 million. SKE's high this summer was $3.28 ($700 million cap). And here DEC sits at $0.055 with a ...more

Great analysis from your perch Professor Og. A little ambitious but quite likely to have continuous zones joining each other, like in SE BC. If Ed bought another chunk at 6cents, then our 5.5s isn't bad at all. Back up the truck now that the impatient holders seem to be out. In early Dec drill results will solidify some of the puzzle. Looking  . . .  very good!
