DEFN really a play on green the auto industryWicheeda is a a cerium rich deposit which all the the promoters of REEs usually bad mouth.
While everyone is talking PGMs in particular palladium the average auto catalyst contains 20 to 30 grams Ce per cubic liter. (USGS 2013) and avergage SUV/PU is 3.3 cubic liters. The USGS using 2010 vehicle numbers figured there is 18-19,000 tonnes of cerium on the road back then. PGMs are recycled from catalytic converters (Catcons) but REEs aren`t
Presently all catcons in North America come from Europe. The cerium comes from China
Wicheeda also is lanthanum rich a key ingrediant in refining oil. With the ban on bitimen export and not oil Alberta is building an huge oil refinery just down the road from Wicheeda that would use every tonne of lanthanum the deposit would produce in its life time.
As for the magnet metals the industry is well aware of Wicheeda and several companies have expressed interest in neodymium etc it could produce
Not sure why the company is marketing it self as a "defence" metals company when they don`t have any. If you want a real defence metal look up beryllium. The F-35 is sucking up the worlds supply
That said I think the average investor wants to buy into saving the world versus supplying the US military
