300 ppm lithium value in water core sludge - uhhh....brine.

TEELS MARSH'S - 43 - 101 -  TECH  REPORT
https://dajin.ca/files/technical/teels-marsh-43-101-final.pdf

PAGE 49 - BRINE ANALYSIS

Analyze the chart

THEN....ON PAGE -  50
Lithium in the core and groundwater sludge samples ranged from <5 to 310 ppm and boron ranged from <5 to 8,600 ppm (Tables 4, 5). Lithium concentrations in these samples correlate best with Mg concentrations (r2 = 0.41)

Wango - what's the closest to brine ?
Why it's....groundwater - sludge (  tease )

Now.. who took the samples ?
Grad students sent out on a quick assignment....lol

Sediment = Sediment.
Brine = Brine.
Sludge = in between water and sediment - .lol ( part water part core sludge water )

KEY  takeaway ?
Suddenly....a high value of 300 ppm -  lithium shows up.
In a watery sluudge...

This is what the geo should focus on -

Now... imagine if 1 tonne of sediment sludge /sediments were excavated and put through
a pilot test =add lots of water /then try deionized water = make brine
would the lithium suddenly appear ?

This is where one has to look at surface sampling and small volume sediment or brine tests
and take it with a grain of salt... too many variables can obsurce the tests.
Like what if the person who performed the brine test was sloppy or improper handling occured ?

Lithium in the sediments upto - 850 ppm
not much ado - in the brines
Lithium suddenly shows up in the watery sludge

What other mineral was the lithium found moreso - around ?
Northupite is an uncommon evaporite mineral, with the chemical formula Na3Mg(CO3)2Cl. It occurs as colourless to dark grey or brown octahedral crystals and as globular masses.

What's the chemical formula for this - Northupite ?
Na3Mg(CO3)2Cl

SODIUM

MAGNESIUM
IN A BONDED CARBONATE CHLORIDE

There you go....mineral bonding.
If sodium and magnesium in a chloride carbonate can bond
and lithium was moreso found around this elemental bond....
what are the chances the lithium is also apart of this - salt bond ?
Triad or Quad bonding ?

How importantis it to retest the brines ?
Real important.

How important is it to test for multiple salt bonding \?
Really, Really...important.

What does the NI 43 - 101 report - go onto say about.... lithium + northupite ?
TOO DIFFICULT OT DETECT....
LOL - Chart has no value for the northupite
Hence - inconclusive testing i'd say.. .for the lithium.
A definite RETAKE  is needed....ESPECIALLY when 300 ppm lithium suddenly shows up in
the sludge core watery brines.

That's an Albermalre grade - 300 ppm.
Dajin should have bene all over this years ago.
To think -claims are aside of - hot geothermal brines with lots of salts = chlorides.
Missing link - O + H  molecules in brines -  are most likely already loaded with other minerals Add more O + H = in a vlaue of deionized water - allows one ot load more minerals.

There... done with researching.
It's up to the junior ot figure it out.
Lots to go on...
Get at it - Dajin.
Tease.

Cheers.
