TSX.V, fundamentals and share priceTSX.V: Most businesses on the TSX.V are microcaps and, accordingly, attract a certain kind of investor - in many cases looking for a quick buck and often having little concerned about (longer term) fundamentals. As such it can be expected that businesses, such as DM, who - despite having strong fundamentals - don't see their sp rise as quickly as others, given that the nature of their core business (AI) has a long(er) business cycle.
NRs: Some businesses, irrespective of longer business cycles, will have strong (often unduly hyped up) PR strategies - issuing news releases for everything and anything. As we know, DM has mostly steered away from this while oftentimes having weak, confusing or incomplete NRs that don't positively impact sp.
Negative posts: One thing that's for sure is that posters shoot themselves in the foot when posting negative posts on this board and that others repeatedly respond to them. Although this may help vent frustration it's simply counter-productive to the broader cause of getting DM, positively, known to outsiders who may have heard about it. Unduly posting negative comments will only turn potential investors, looking at a variety of sources of information for their DD, away. When this happens there's no need to have bashers (hard or soft) since we're already generating self-inflicted wounds. in the best cases, or having bashers surf on these negative posts, in the worst case. An example today was the "Dud" post, which was them repeated 12+ times. So much for attracting potential new comers.
The current sp annoys me as much as anyone else but I'm confident, from looking at the bigger picture, that DM is increasingly proving to be a strong long term beacon - rather than a short-lived bell and whistles firework.
So my advice to people struggling to see the long term business opportunity and striving for short-term fix is to look elsewhere.
My two cents - even for those thinking it may be worthless ;-)
