RE:Some weekend due diligence on DM’s biggest competitorWell where there's smoke, there must be fire
I said something smells of pay to play.
A buddy of mine is working at the Bruce Power Expansion Construction projects in Ontario, he is also a DM shareholder.
He told me at the outset of the Pandemic he pitched DM to the folks at Bruce Power.
He said not long after LifeLabs moved in and provided full time CV Testing services.
Well what do you know, look who happens to sit on the Board of Directors of LifeLabs, a fellow named James Scongack, now check who he works providing all the operational services for.
https://www.lifelabs.com/about-us/leadership/?myProvince=on#board-of-directors LifeLabs has the contracts for most of , if not all the long term care facilities in Ontario.
How deep does this go??
I bet there is more then one investigative journalist in Canada that would love to look deeper into this.
Question for Ontario taxpayers, how much is the Ford Gov. Overpaying for Testing provided by politically friendly services like unionized LifeLabs owned by Ontario Municipal Employees Pension System.
If I lived in Ontario I would demand answers from my Elected representatives and send this info to local journalists to investigate to what extent this apparent corruption extends, is this Canada or Italy.
Makes me also wonder what goes on with testing contract awards in the home of scandal ridden SNC Lavilan - Quebec??
I'm not concluding illegalities have occurred with these testing contract awards across the country, Just saying something smells !!
Im just speculating that that in more then one instance, Ununionized DM & SCRN could have come in with a lower bid had real competition been allowed.
